Web-design is the field of modern arts that has gained great popularity through the last years. The ones who started working in it even 5 years ago today are specialists with good experience.

We were pleased to take interview from one of our best designers - Fixxxerupi. He works with us from the very beginning and now his works have good commercial success. Fixxxerupi tells his opinion about web-design as sort of art and way to earn money, shares his professional tips and gives advices to the beginners in this field.

Q: Fixxxerupi, for how many years have you been occupied in web-design?

A: Nearly five or six years.


Q: What did you start with? Why did you choose this sphere?

A: From the very childhood I loved to draw and paint. As I grew older my desire to be engaged in something connected with visual arts became stronger. Being a student I had many ideas and great inspiration and I was looking for the best way to express my creativity. I analyzed different spheres of design and concluded that web-design was what I needed. Web-design gives great space for realizing different ideas and visual images an artist has in mind. As it is rather new field in arts and business it leaves much unknown to explore. Also as it turned out it is very profitable job.


Q: Where do you get inspiration from? Which thoughts in mind do you always start working with?

A: I am always inspirated with new styles and trends in design, architecture, fashion. I also love music, arts and I am fond of different artists. Sometimes I visit arts exhibitions. Inherently I am optimist and I always try to start working in good mood. Then my works come out better :)


Q: What are you fond of?

A: I am fond of many different things. I belive that world is full of interesting things and interesting people who can teach us something. I love rock music, cinema, books, fashion, architecture, travelling. I also play the guitar and it really pleases me :) But most of my time takes web and drawing.


Q: Are you occupied in other kinds of object design? On your opinion what are the benefits of web-design?

A: Now I have not enough time for other kinds of design, so I work only with web. I think that every kind of arts has its benefits.


Q: What stock sites are you cooperating with?

A: I cooperate with Buystockdesign.сom and Themeforest.net.


Q: What in Buystockdesign attracts you most?

A: It is young and perspective site. Buystockdesign provides pleasant working conditions and good percent rates for contributors. Base of templates is not very big now but I am sure it will grow quickly in the nearest future. I sincerely wish good developing and well-being to this agency.


Q: How do you choose theme for the next design of site? Which sorts of sites are most popular today?

A: Choice comes through analyzing internet market. I try to learn what themes are best for selling now, which sites are most popular and interesting for people, which goods and services have high demand. Mostly I make multipurpose templates, which can be used and for business companies, and for personal sites.
Nowadays in fashion is 'simple style'. It is fundamentally different with the styles popular two or three years ago. With the advent of system Web 2.0 appearance of sites has changed greatly. New fonts, bright colors, new stuctures for sites, interesting java-elements appeared. So why not take advantage of this and create sites, which will attract people and meet fashion trends?


Q: Which trends in depeloping of web-design do you see?

A: I think there are no limits for developing in this field. People are working in internet and people like to see good, qualitative, beautiful sites. New appearance for sites will come with new technologies, so web-design will always be popular and its products will have demand.


Q: Can you give few advices for beginners in web-design?

A: If you want to be successful in any job you need to work hard. Web-design is very fascinating and interesting kind of design, it always leaves much to strive for and it gives good profit. My main advice is to love your job, work hard, be critical to yourself and you will do it!
